The Community Suite Partnership provides your Chamber with a suite of technology and media tools designed to offer a hyper localized marketing strategy for your community. The Community Suite of marketing tools includes:

  • A series of technology based social media and other measurability tools.

  • A “rewards near me” and “save favourites” functionality
  • A Google maps direction finder for every location
  • On-line reward redemption capability
  • Web based print rewards capability
  • Social media automatic posts capability
  • Marketing strategy for delivery of magazines
  • Marketing templates for print, web and app advertising sales
  • Banner ads capability on both web and app marketing tools

You will be a partner of the Community Suite of Products – Experience brand for your community. This means that you will form a marketing relationship with Community Clicks Media Group and/or a local licensee to assist with the delivery of the Community Suite services to your Community.

What’s the difference between a license agreement and a franchise agreement? 2017-11-28T19:56:53+00:00

They are very similar but the main difference is a license agreement gives you more freedom to run the business your
way. You get to use the templates for the Experience sales tools, marketing systems and branding but have
considerable discretion when it comes to the day to day operation of your Communications business. We are always
available to help you maintain profitability and encourage independence.

What are the benefits of acquiring a Community Clicks – Experience License? 2017-11-28T19:56:57+00:00

An Experience license gives you the ability to get into the Communications industry quickly and smoothly. It gives you
the freedom of being your own boss, setting your own hours, working right from home, in a fun industry. If you are
outgoing, enjoy meeting people, being creative and are passionate about your community then an Experience license is
for you! With the Community Clicks Experience License you’ll make a real difference in your community. There really is
nothing better than enjoying what you do while making a great living, it’s tremendously rewarding.

The license fee is $30,000 per territory. The license is for three years and automatically renews at no additional cost for an additional three years if sales and profitability targets are met in the final year of the agreement.

Often you will find with franchises you have to pay a percentage of all of your sales to the franchise company. With the
Experience License there is a flat $1,000 per month fee for print media commencing 120 days after the license has been signed. A technology cost of goods charge of 20% of gross technology based revenue will coincide with the launch of your website and mobile app. All costs associated with the delivery and maintenance of the technology components are covered by the royalty fees.

Other than the license fee the start up costs are minimal as most people already have the equipment they need to builda business. You will need a computer or laptop with Microsoft Office software and a small home printer/scanner, plus a digital camera. We set you up with an inventory of business cards, price sheets and order forms. The only extra cost is for some acrylic holders for displaying the magazines currently priced at $3.25 each. All fees associated with a CRM database, website hosting, email addresses, initial training and ongoing monitoring are covered in the royalty fees.

Yes! Each license covers a set territory which is yours alone.

Do I need any qualifications to run a Community Clicks business? 2017-11-28T19:57:24+00:00

No. All training is provided as well as on-going support. However a basic knowledge of computers and social media marketing is very helpful.

Do I need to have experience in publishing or design? 2017-11-28T19:57:29+00:00

No. We will complete all the tasks associated with publishing your magazine. All you need to do is generate sales.

No. Our team is responsible for continually upgrading the technology and training you on how to use the communication and technology tools of the Community Clicks – Experience License.

Some experience will be a great asset but with our technology team behind your efforts and you providing the content
information those businesses you are working with want to promote your knowledge will grow as your familiarity with your customers’ increases. See below for additional information about our training and support.

Like any business there is a lot of hard work to be done at first. Owning your own business is not a 9 – 5 job, but it
is rewarding. To be successful you need to be an outgoing, people person. You need to like people but more
importantly people need to like you. Building a strong reputation with businesses in your community and
understanding the Lifestyle of the people who live there are keys to success. For those licensees that work with
Chambers of Commerce, these components of success will grow exponentially and you should realize your
financial goals very quickly.

Set up and training takes about a week and is then on-going as required, especially for the launch of your website and web app and your first few magazines. Training will diminish as you become more experienced but we’re always here for you for whatever help you need. Technology training will be more continuous as technology is always changing and evolving. Regular online and in person technology seminars/events will be held that will be designed for you to share with businesses in your community.

Your main income to begin with will come from advertising space in the magazine. Additional income will come from
technology and social media packages. There is substantial earning potential from these packages as there are little or no “overhead” costs associated with the income from technology sales.

This depends, like most things, on how much work you are prepared to put in. Any business start up comes with risk. An established 48 page magazine that is filling its’ advertising capacity can bring in approximately $4,000 a month in net profit from magazine advertising sales. Technology sales can add approximately anywhere from $1,000 in month one to $7,000 a month after the first year of operation. Please see the Potential Earnings sheet for more details.
